I’ve been at it again, lurking and browsing over on Pinterest! It has proved very useful, once again, as I’ve come up with this list of great ideas and blog posts, and I want to try each of them with the children over Easter. Boo’s 4 now, so I think she’ll be fine with every single one of these 10 Easter activities for pre-schoolers, and at 18 months, Little Man should be able to get involved in most of them (he’ll LOVE Easter egg hunting, as he’s a huge fan of hide and seek!) and those that he’s not too capable of, I’m sure Boo will help out 🙂
Let’s start with breakfast, and an idea from Worth Pinning
Then let’s get them painting with this Easter Chick Card…
And whilst we’re feeling crafty, lets get that glitter out! Try a little Easter Egg Crafting….
and we always have bubble wrap, thanks to my cards deliveries, so we’ll try these from No Time For Flash Cards
And then I think this looks fab, shaving foam painting from Little Wonder’s Days…
A little easy cooking, from Rainy Day Mum..
And then there has to be some egg decorating, doesn’t there? Not being a huge fan of mess, and suspecting this could be a tricky one, I was drawn to this post, from My Sister’s Suitcase…
My mum wants to get an egg hunt ready for them, as do I, so for plenty of ideas, from Momma’s Fun World, we have..
For an easier, quieter activity, we’ll do a little colouring with these printables from Mr Printables..
And finally, dinnertime, from Small Family Big World
We also plan to take them to a National Trust property to enjoy one of their fun Easter egg hunts – can’t wait for that one!
What activities have you got lined up?
Some fabulous Easter ideas, I’ll have to get Roo and Tigger making bunny hats and I’m now popping over to check out the mess free egg decorating post.
Now that I’ve done that post, I just want to do it all, but it seems a bit early!
Pinterest alway gives me life-envy but these are great ideas.Loving the shaving foam painting. What a novel idea. My little ones will go crazy for the pancake bunnies. Awesome. Thanks for the inspiration x
Yep, I understand the life-envy! I try not to get sucked into that and just sift through it for the good stuff 🙂
Brilliant ideas! Very creative too. I have pinned them.
Great, thanks!
Amazing how you can do this with your kids. I always wanted to do such activities but I just don’t know where to start and what to do =(
