Oh my, Monday morning again! These seem to roll around very quickly, don’t they?!
Today I’d like to help you to get motivated and organised for the week ahead, with some wise words. Not my words, words from far wiser people than myself.
We all have that Monday morning feeling from time to time. They seem to be even harder to tackle when the mornings are dark and dreary, we have to muster all of our energy to put a smile on and get into busy mode.
Working for myself, I need to stay motivated! I need to keep going each day, and I want to do so with enthusiasm and a smile.
These quotes resonate with me and help me to get going, so I am hoping that they will help you too.
Now, onto those quotes…
“The most effective way to do is to do it.” – Amelia Earhart
“Every day brings new choices.” – Martha Beck
“What you do today can improve all your tomorrows.” – Ralph Marston
“The beginning is always today.” – Mary Shelley
“Don’t count the days. Make the days count.” – Muhammad Ali
“The best way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.” – Walt Disney
“Always believe that something wonderful is about to happen.” – Sukhraj S. Dhillon
“Believe you can and you’re halfway there.” – Theodore Roosevelt
“Live today. Not yesterday. Not tomorrow. Just today. Inhabit your moments. Don’t rent them out to tomorrow.” – Jerry Spinelli
“I didn’t get there by wishing for it or hoping for it, but by working for it.” – Estée Lauder
“The future depends on what you do today.” – Mahatma Gandhi
Have these helped you?
I chose them, so every single one of these helps me. I find that reading through the whole list a couple of times sets me up for the day. Any day. But a Monday tends to need a bit more help than the other days!
Which quote do you like?
I like the Disney & Roosevelt quotes the best. I copied them into my quote journal.
Believe you can and are half way there
It’s a great quote, isn’t it? Love it!
I love the mug! Can you tell me where I can get one?
Thank you! It’s from Paperchase.
