I love working with Books2Door as they have so many books on offer at great prices. Now, add Black Friday Book Deals on top of that and they’re irresistible!
My kids will be receiving some books for Christmas, they always do, and my own wish list includes a fair few books too. OK, OK, more than a fair few! You aren’t surprised.
Now seems like a good time to bag a few book bargains and there’s a huge selection in the Black Friday extra 10% off selection, along with all of the other good value options.
My daughter reads a lot, and along with her own books she’s recently been swapping books with her best mate as they are both voracious readers.
I recently spotted a ‘most popular books of 2023’ tick list doing the rounds on social media and whilst I’d read a couple of them, my daughter had read half of them. If it’s been on BookTok, my girl will have heard about it!
This time, she’s gone for this Stephanie Perkins collection of 3 books. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen those on BookTok too, so no doubt that’s where she’s spotted them. She’s then opted for a bit of fantasy Holly Black’s Modern Faerie Tales.
This collection of books by Mary H.K. Choi also grabbed her attention, so I’m hoping all of these will keep her busy for a little while at least.
My son often enjoys doodles and comic style books so I thought he might like to give some graphic novels a try.
I think books like this are a good transition from comic/diary style books and they might also appeal more to reluctant readers if you’re looking to interest your kids. I’ll be interested to see what he makes of them.
This Fredrik Backman Collection Set called to me as I’ve been meaning to read A Man Called Ove for ages. I read his Bear Town a while back and knew I needed to read more by him, so I’m looking forward to reading these.
Along with book sets, both modern and classic, there are plenty of activity books on offer and even a good selection of toys.
To be honest, I lost a fair bit of time looking through everything available, I could buy up most of it!
I spotted a Bluey boxset that I know my niece would enjoy, I saw the Chestnut Springs books on offer and I love those if you’re looking for a recommendation (they are a bit steamy, so avoid if that’s not for you!), there are Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Big Nate books that are a fun choice if you’re buying for middle grade kids, my son enjoys them, there are plenty of non fiction choices on offer too and how gorgeous are these Jane Austen hardbacks?
Beautiful and what a price!
