Welcome to this month’s blog progress report.
I can’t quite believe that this is my last update of the year.
Looking back on 2021, I can see how much everything has developed and grown, and how I have found my routines and rhythm along the way. It means that I am ending 2021 happily, and looking forward to seeing what 2022 will bring.

Looking back on the plans I had December, I’m pleased to see that I have kept on track with them all.
I got my Patreon letters and parcels out nice and early in the month to give them a good chance of reaching their recipients before Christmas.
As always, I enjoyed creating the happy mail and choosing the goodies for the stationery parcels. It’s fun putting these together and I’m already looking forward to next month’s.
I have got 2 blog posts out each week, and I will be having a couple of weeks break over Christmas, whilst the kids are home.
I have also kept things going over on my YouTube channel which I’m really pleased about. There has been a new upload each week, I have been promoting the content, continuing to chat with the YouTube community and I even added a short this month too.
Key for me this month was stopping and reviewing all I have been up to this year, and putting some plans in place for next year.
This year has seen me growing my Etsy store, and whilst this hasn’t been something I have worked on this month, it has featured in my review and plans for the new year.
I have been working on a new product, and I want to get some new pen pal packs into the shop in January.
All things papery remain a big part of all that I do. As such, growing Bring Back Paper has been key this month, and will remain so next year.
We have had a book swap running this month, the Bring Back Paper Facebook group has remained nice and chatty and we have enjoyed a festive book readalong. Details of next month’s readalong will be here on the blog in a couple of day’s time, so everyone has plenty of time to get that ordered ready to join in with us in 2022.
The newsletters have been going out with Flodesk, my newsletter provider, and my subscriber numbers are continuing to grow weekly. I am looking at trying something different next year to ramp up these numbers, it’ll be a project for January.
My newsletter goes out every Friday lunchtime (UK time) and shares the latest posts, videos, details of all activities running and there’s usually some extra papery inspiration in there too.
Plans for next month
It’ll be all go!
I want to hit the ground running in January, and I am hoping that by focusing on Patreon, Etsy, newsletters and content creation both here and on YouTube, I’ll enjoy the month.
I have then got some admin and marketing stuff scheduled into my diary each week, behind the scenes work that I hope will be worth my time.
I want to have a good solid January, fully back into the swing of everything and feeling motivated and keen, so that I can move on to working on some fresh ideas in February. That’s the plan anyway!
What are your thoughts on my activities and plans?
