Blog Progress Report February 2023

Welcome to this month’s blog progress report.

We’re at the end of February, so it’s time to share what I’ve been up to and what I plan to do in March.

As always, I started the month focusing on my Patreon memberships.

I had fun putting together both the stationery parcels and the happy mail.

Due to an international postage incident, I’ve been to the post office every week this month trying to post the parcels. Luckily, they do know me in there!

I really enjoy working on Patreon. I like coming up with the monthly swaps and organising them, I like the mailings, and it’s always fun to create the monthly writing paper and printables.

Patreon work is where I get to immerse myself in a papery world with other paper fans, and that can only be a good thing, right?

I was then working on blog posts to get ahead for the month as half term was last week so I knew I wanted to take some time off with the kids.

I like to batch write posts when I am in the mood to write so this worked well.

I’ve been enjoying filming for my YouTube channel, I seem to be warming and warming to it more each week!

This month it’s been good to chat books for a change as I love to read, and then I like to get creative and talk to you in pen pal videos.

As always, my newsletters have been going out with Flodesk, every week. They go out every Friday lunchtime (UK time) and share the latest posts, videos, details of all activities running and there’s usually some extra inspiration in there too. If you want to ensure you don’t miss any new content, old favourites and the latest activities and products, do ensure you’re signed up to that.

I organised this month’s Bring Back Paper activity, the book swap, and the Bring Back Paper Facebook group is still a great place to drop into and chat.

The plan had been to focus on my Etsy store and pen pal printables but that stalled when I hit a bit of a wall with something I was trying to design. So that remains on the list and I need to work on that next month.

The Ultimate Pen Pal Pack was new last month and has been my bestseller since then, so I’m really pleased with that.

Plans for next month

I have the whole of March, school holiday free, to get some new things out, and I am determined!

I plan to work on Patreon this week, and then I am going to batch my other tasks together.

I’m thinking I’ll spend a couple of days filming for YouTube, a few days writing and scheduling to social media and then, if all goes to plan, I should have a week where I’ll only need to write my newsletter and can then work on designing all week. I find it can help to devote time to it like this and timetable in it, helping to make it a priority and I can get into it with no other distractions.

What are your thoughts on my activities and plans?
