Welcome to this month’s blog progress report.
What a month it has been! It’s been absolutely dominated by this month’s #bringbackpaper activity.
I feel like I have been drowning in it! But, I am pleased as I have managed to keep other areas ticking along alongside it.

It’s been a month where I knew the activity, a pen pal sign up, would pretty much take over! It’s always such a popular activity so we get lots of sign ups (around 150 this time) and it isn’t an easy one to organise properly, it requires a fair bit of thought and attention.
At the end of last month, I was bracing myself for this one and told myself it’d be OK if the usual activities slipped a little, but I am pleased that I managed to keep them all going. They provided a nice break from pen pal admin!
I managed to get my two new blog posts live every week, along with a new upload every Wednesday for my YouTube channel.
My newsletters have still been going out with Flodesk, my newsletter provider. They go out every Friday lunchtime (UK time) and share the latest posts, videos, details of all activities running and there’s usually some extra papery inspiration in there too. If you want to ensure you don’t miss any new content, old favourites and the latest activities and products, do ensure you’re signed up to that.
I have seen Bring Back Paper continue to grow this month as the sign up has attracted a few new people, it’s lovely to see snail mailers old and new taking part.
As such, the Bring Back Paper Facebook group has been growing steadily and I have continued to post over there daily and keep on top of the group admin. It’s such a great group of people, I do like to drop by there.
I have had not time this month to work on my Etsy store, but I had expected that with the pen pal sign up and sales have been ticking along nicely anyway.
I even managed to get some more SEO work in at the end of the month, after all of the pen pal emails had been sent out, so I am pleased with that, an extra bonus activity that I hadn’t expected!
Plans for next month
Next month, I will continue on with my SEO work as I seem to be finding my stride with that now.
My next priority, as always, will be getting happy mail to my Patrons and arranging activities and paper for them, and then running the Bring Back Paper activity for the month.
Next month includes the Easter school holidays so I will have the kids at home for a fortnight. This will mean I should be able to work around them to get the usual activities completed, such as creating fresh content and social media posts, but I doubt I’ll have much more time left over after I have done that. I do like to see and enjoy them while they’re at home!
What are your thoughts on my activities and plans?
