Boo is 15 today. 15!
I know some of you will have been reading this blog for many years now, and I think she was 3 or 4 when I started blogging, so yes, time is flying by and my girl is now 15 years old.
My daughter is growing up fast now, and she constantly makes me proud to be her mum.
She’s just started in Year 10 at school and is happy so far with the GCSE’s she’s chosen to do. She’s getting involved with the school musical and she’s just registered to complete her Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award. She has a lovely group of friends there, and I know they’ll keep her going through the busier times over the coming months.
She is kind, friendly, bright, outgoing, organised and she doesn’t miss a thing. The energy levels she had as a primary school child have dropped as she enjoys a little more laziness as a teen, but I can see them still there, bubbling away under the surface. Just because she’s no longer running everywhere, doesn’t mean that her mind’s not always super busy!
At 15, Boo loves music, books, AVFC, Jellycats, her friends, theme parks, Outer Banks, theatre trips, TikTok, jelly beans, Sturniolo Triplets and all things cosy.
Wherever she is, there is usually music. She’ll be singing, playing it, telling me about a new song she’s loving, choosing new CDs and vinyls and asking for concert tickets. Music means a lot to her, it’s a part of who she is. And don’t even bother trying to beat her at any song lyrics or guess the intro quizzes, she will always win!
She’s having several days worth of celebrations! She had a friend sleep over last weekend, this weekend she’s off to a theme park with a few more of her friends and this evening will be about family, cake, takeaway food and a movie night.
Happy birthday, Boo. Love you loads.
Happy birthday Boo!
She sounds like such a wonderful young lady, you must be so proud! x
Thank you! I am! xx
