Flowercard Review & Give-Away

Last week I received some rather lovely post…..

Gorgeous flowers!

They’re from Flowercard, and these are the Chelsea Garden arrangement. As you can see from the top photos there, it arrived beautifully wrapped in a box, and then when opened up, the flowers are in an oasis block, with a pipette provided to water them. I’ve now had these for 5 days, and they’re still looking lovely and as fresh as the day they arrived.

Flowercard offer a wide range of arrangements, along with cards for different occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries, thank yous, and of course, the upcoming Mother’s Day, too. For Mother’s Day, you’d need to order before 2pm on Thursday 12th March for Express Delivery and 2pm on Friday 13th March for Next Day Delivery, so there is still time!

I think there’s always a reason to send flowers, and who wouldn’t want to receive them? From here in the midlands UK or flower delivery in Melbourne, flowers are universal.

It’s not just flowercards, there’s also a good selection of chocolates, and you can send flowerposies and flowers in tins, which I think are very pretty. They’re all about making it as special a gift as possible, so they can all have personal messages printed on them, making them beautiful and thoughtful ideas.

The price is consistent with sending a bouquet of flowers, so I think this is a matter of personal preference. These are a smaller bunch of flowers than you can get for a similar price, but this is a different concept and a little quirky. I also like that they arrive in a relatively small box through the post, and I don’t think you’d be expecting to open up a small parcel and receive beautiful flowers. Flowers always make me smile, having them in my home just cheers me instantly, so I do like the idea of sending happy post like this.

You can find Flowercard on Twitter and Facebook, for updates and their latest news.

I now have a Chelsea Garden Flowercard available to give away to one of my lucky readers. To be in with a chance of winning it, use the rafflecopter below, answer the question, and be sure to enter before the closing date of 12am 23rd March 2015. Open to UK entrants only, good luck!

  2. Christine Lockley

My lovely friend Deb who is awaiting medical tests results – they always take an age to come through, so this might brighten her days and take her mind off them for a short while.

Thanks for the chance to win x

  3. Margaret Lee-Roberts

My sister. She has a husband with a progressive disease and is always upbeat and caring, despite holding down a job as well as helping him.

  4. I would give these to my mum as it’s her birthday at the end of the month but she more then deserves them.

  5. I would give it to my sister in law to cheer her up as she is undergoing breast cancer treatment which is making her feel very poorly.

  6. I’d give it to my mum – she’s had a really hard time last few months – her brother has prostate cancer and her sister is currently in icu in a coma due organ failure. My mum is rushing back and forth between the two of them and doesnt have time for herself

  7. Am going to be horribly selfish, but very honest, and say me. I have a very big birthday coming come up soon and the whole of my (eek – long) life, I have only received flowers twice so this would be such a lovely, lovely treat and very special.

  8. My wonderful husband Nick. He has just driven a round trip of 690 miles so I could see my sister for two hours and loves flowers.

  9. Kerry Lethbridge

I’d send these to my grandpa he was taken by another relative to live at the other end of the country in a care home and my twins and I don’t get to see him any more 🙁

  10. My Mum-one-law is amazing and I love her very much, she loves flowers and I would love to give her them as a thank you for all of her support and kindness

  11. Our teenage daughter as she is working so hard studying for her GCSE exams and has just sat her Art practical exam over 15 hours this last week!

  12. My friend Diane Proctor because she is always there for me, rescuing me when my car broke down, transporting me and my daughter too and from dancing. A true friend

  13. Stephanie Whitehouse

It’s soon my mum’s 86th birthday, and she says she only wants a card, so this would be ideal
