Foxy Pants Review & Competition

We have a new game here and we’ve been having fun playing it. We’ve been reviewing Foxy Pants from Drumond Park, and I also have a game up for grabs, so do read on…

Put the chickens in the Fox’s pocket…

… push his head down.

Watch the fox closely and get ready…

When his trousers dramatically drop, you must race to pick up as many chickens as possible. Fill your chicken coop to win the game!

For 2-4 players, aged 4 years old and up.

Foxy Pants Game

The game took only a few minutes to prepare, as a few things needed stickering. Playing each time after this initial set up is very easy and quick to set up. You just need to pull up those Foxy Pants!

The game-play is straightforward. Each player takes it in turns to roll the die and then put the corresponding amount of chickens into the fox’s pants, pushing down his head at the end of their turn. As play continues and his pants start to fill up, at some point his pants will drop and chickens will fall about everywhere. Players need to grab those chickens and fill their coops, and the first player to do so wins. Easy!

My kids love that at the start of this game, to choose who will be going first, each player needs to do a chicken impression and the best impression goes first. These impressions get more elaborate and detailed every time that we play now!

This is such an easy game to set up and play, and the rules can be understood by young children making this one great for all the family. Each game takes less than ten minutes to play, sometimes less than five minutes, which makes it a great one for grabbing and playing without feeling you have to commit hours to it! I do think the simplicity of this is its appeal, my kids (currently aged 8 and 5) both enjoy playing it and I remain amazed by how quickly the fox drops those pants – you really have to see them disappear to believe it!

Competition Time

I now have a Foxy Pants game worth £22.99 (rrp) up for grabs for one lucky winner. To be in with a chance of winning it, enter using the rafflecopter below. The competition is open to UK entrants only and closes at 12am on the 9th October 2018. Good luck!

The initial easy set-up is a great idea. Nothing like spending ages setting a game up (little people tend to drift off if that happens in our house). But it also sounds quite straightforward once set-up which is a great idea, little ones won’t need much help once they’ve played it once or twice.
