It’s that time of year where we are all trying to figure out what to buy for our loved ones.
I’m quite used to buying gifts for my teenage girl, and her friends, so I thought I’d share a few suggestions with you if you’re trying to find something to buy the teenage girl in your life.
For reference, my daughter is 15 years old, but I’d say these are the kind of things she’d have loved for the past couple of years and I see no signs of their popularity waning as she gets older.
These are mostly under £50 gift ideas and several are quite a bit less than that.
We are not entering the UGG, North Face, Air Force 1, iPhone territory here, I’m sure she’ll let you know if she wants those things!

Jellycats
Now these have been popular for a while, but I know TikTok keeps making certain Jellycats really popular (and therefore difficult to get) too. There are loads to choose from, whether it be animals or amuseables, and it is fun selecting the one you’d like.
Check their website for stockists so you can see them and their actual size before choosing, and avoid postage.
If there’s not one near you, you can Shop Jellycats here.
‘Cosy’ Things
Think soft, fluffy throws, ambient lamps, fluffy socks, twinkling fairy lights, warm pyjamas, Simba slippers, huge cushions, hot chocolates, you get the idea.
A gift basket of all things cosy is likely to be a hit.
‘So…’ Body Mists
These were around when we were young, weren’t they? I’m not sure whether they’ve always been there or they’re having a resurgence, but I do know this is always a good choice for a little stocking filler.
Musician/YouTuber/Sports tops
Merchandise showing their support of their favourite celebrities, sports teams or TV shows often goes down well.
Artists and influencers often have their own stores, and some only drop merchandise at certain times, so you might need to sign up for alerts for this one.
Focus on her passions
Following on from that last one, the chances are there’s something she’s super passionate about.
Maybe it’s music, maybe it’s football, maybe it’s wildlife, maybe she loves history, the list is endless.
Get her something that shows her you’ve noticed that allows her to indulge her interests.
A book about her favourite team, a subscription to a history magazine, a vinyl of her favourite album, a mug with her favourite animal.
Funko Pops
These are so popular, and you can get a Funko Pop for so many different celebrities and characters.
Books
Some teens love to read, some don’t, so it’s worth knowing this about your recipient first.
If she does love books, take a look at the latest YA fiction releases and choose from this selection, as if she’s a bookworm, there’s a good chance she’ll have read older books.
Squishmallows
I know, I’ve already mentioned Jellycats yet here we are with more soft toys. But, they will like them!
There are loads of these to choose from, in different sizes, and some are themed around characters and TV shows too.
Sol de Janeiro
Is there a teenage girl who doesn’t know about Sol de Janeiro?! I doubt it!
There are several fragrances to choose from, and as well as the mists, there are various lotions, creams and gift sets.
Gift Cards
This one will always be a hit. So many to choose from, I’d suggest stores like New Look, Primark, Vue, Superdrug, Boots, H&M, Amazon or Waterstones.
What about the teen girl in your life? What would she love?

Yep! This is the exact same list that my youngest has along with some clothes! My girl loves those So, body mists, I am sure I remember them when I was a teenager too! We spotted the Sol de Janeiro dupes in B&M the other day which have good ratings and are a fraction of the price. hehehe
They all want this stuff!! Ooh, good tip!
