We bought Boo a Haba Zap Tack Springtime Butterflies set for Christmas. It’s proving to be a lot of fun, so I thought I’d share..
As you can see, it comes with a cork-board, brightly coloured shapes, suggestions for designs, a hammer and plenty of tacks.
She loves hammering away at it and making lots of different butterflies and creatures…
She enjoys both following the suggested patterns, and creating her own. The possibilities are seemingly endless!
It’s a great quality product, with lovely, bright wooden pieces. And yes, I’ve obviously played, too – it’s too cute not to! It’s one that we keep well away from Little Man, but for Boo, at 4, it’s just perfect and it’s holds her attention for a long time. I think as well as the fact that she likes to make things like this, she loves that she has her own hammer!
That looks brilliant! Wish I’d seen something like that when my niece was smaller; she’d have loved it and I’d have loved playing with her! 🙂
It’s really good fun!
That looks like so much fun! I’m sure I had similar as a child although not as well made! I cannot wait until LP is bigger and we can enjoy toys like this x
Yes, I’m sure I did, too! Lots of fun x
These are such a great idea aren’t they. We have something similar and Monkey loves it.
Yes, they’re brilliant. So beautifully made, too.
I remember having a similar toy when I was small, although not as nice as this one. Hours of fun, and definitely something I am going to get for my 3. Thanks for sharing with #TriedTested
You’re very welcome and thanks for hosting x

This looks like such a fun activity. I think my boys would love it.
It’s so lovely and the hammering in nails is a real hit!
Another lovely gift idea. I love the idea that this can be used again and again, so many craft sets are used once and then finished with. This is great.
Yes, that’s very true. This has endless playtime!
These are such a great idea, and a really great way to get children thinking about design. Using the hammer is fab for hand eye coordination too. #triedtested
Yes, and she loves wielding that hamme!
This looks really nice, I like the bright colours and the fact that you can use it again and again!
