Heroes of the City – Giveaway

We’ve been sent an introduction to Heroes of the City, and it’s making Boo happy!

It’s a new brand, from Sweden, including a TV series, books and an app. Cute little rescue vehicles are the heroes in this city.

It’s fair to say that they’ve been popular here. Boo has watched the DVD a lot! She likes to play with the cars while the DVD is on, bringing it all to life for her.  Her favourite character is the police car, apparently, though she also has a soft spot for Calamity Crow (or Clumsy Crow, as she calls him!). She’s enjoying reading the book over and over, and there’s also an app on my phone that has movies and lots of games that she’s been having fun with (I confess I’ve taken a liking to one of the games, too ;-)). They’re really simple and easy to play, make us giggle, and are perfect for Boo’s age.

It is going down well here, and I can see it being popular with most pre-schoolers – everyone loves a hero, right?!

And so you’ll be delighted to know that I also have a bundle of Heroes of the City goodies like this to give-away to one on my readers – hooray! Just use the rafflecopter, it ends at 12am 27th Jan 2014 – good luck!

  1. Mine has got to be Batman, the hero who’s got no super powers, and shows that a normal person can be a hero.
