My Blog Plans for the New Year

I can hardly believe that I’ve been blogging for nearly 6 months now. The time has just flown-by, I’ve absolutely loved it, and I’ve written over 200 posts now. With the recently updated Tots100 scores, my blog’s latest ranking, amongst the thousands of blogs registered with them, is at 150, which is way more than I’d expected when I started. This may well be my highest peak, as they update monthly, so I’ll enjoy it while it lasts!

Now that we’re in 2014, I’m thinking about the ways in which I can further enjoy and develop my blog, and a few plans have started to form, that I’ll get cracking on in the next few weeks. I look forward to seeing where they’ll take me, and who knows what I’ll be telling you by this time next year? I wasn’t even considering blogging 12 months ago, so really, anything could have happened by then! Here are a few of the things I’m working on now..

I’ve my new Word of the Week posts and linky starting up this Friday, which I’m really looking forward to. I think it’ll be a fun challenge, and if a few people join in, it’ll be fascinating to see their words, too.

One of my newest features is my ‘I’m Loving…’ series, which is as it says on the tin! This is my way of regularly sharing with you any shops, products, companies, concepts, anything at all, that I’m Loving. I’m enjoying this one, and I have lots more ideas for it, so you can expect to see more of those posts popping up.

I’m very proud to say that I’ve become an ambassador for The Toadstool for 2014, so I will be bringing you news of their gorgeous products, any new ranges and plenty of Toy Tests.

I’ll be taking the opportunity that this blog has given me to use my voice to add a teeny bit of weight to a few charities close to my heart. There are some that I’m very passionate about, so I’ve been in touch with them and will be sharing with you some of their campaigns soon.

There are a few new linky’s that I’ll be joining in with, as there are some fabulous ideas for posts out there, and I’ll be co-hosting one with lovely fellow blogger, Iona at Redpeffer, so more on that soon.

And, of course, there’ll be plenty more of my regular reads, such as Stationery Love, Project Garden, reviews, give-aways, Reading’s Read and telling you about the various days out we have, adventures we enjoy and any fun things we get up to and fancy sharing. We bought National Trust membership for a Christmas treat, so we’ll be out and about over the year, exploring those properties, and telling you about them. And, as I’m wont to do, I’ll ramble on about anything else that pops into my head 😉

Hope you’ve enjoyed reading the first few months, and that you’ll continue on my journey with me into 2014. I’m so pleased that I started this, and even more delighted that there are people actually reading it! And my 2014 blog resolution? To continue to enjoy it, of course 🙂 And to those of you thinking about your own resolutions, plans, decisions and so on, I like to stick to this…
