I have been tagged by the lovely Gina, over at Cold Tea and Smelly Nappies to share with you my ultimate summer driving list. I love that Gina’s got me involved, as these meme’s are always fun to blog about it, though I fear it’s going to expose me and my somewhat eclectic musical preferences..!
There’s also a linky over at The Boy and Me, as she got us all going on this, and so she shares her list including, amongst other classics, Chesney Hawkes :-)!
Here goes, people – remember you liked me before, so don’t desert me now:
1. My Life – Billy Joel
2. Superstition – Stevie Wonder
3. Don’t Let Me Down Gently – The Wonder Stuff

4. Burning Love – Elvis Presley

5. Bennie and the Jets – Elton John

Yes, I am only in my thirties. I’d also sneak a bit of The Saw Doctors, Prince and Wham in there – all will have me singing it out at the top of my voice, a real shame for other passengers…
I now tag:
Up Down, Round and Round
So what do you think of my list then?!
I flipping love Billy Joel, I think I might put his Greatest Hits on now and it will cheer me up!
Thanks for joining in!
The husband & I have tickets to see him in November – cannot wait!!
Hehe love your top 5! I have a feeling mine will be reflective of impending middle age 😉 Thanks for the tag… will get on this later today!! X
Looking forward to reading 🙂
I love it! Every year we make a mega summer roadtrip playlist. There mostly “oldies” in there. But we try to add a few contemporary pieces to keep up with the youth:-) heheheeh!
Ha ha! I do have a few more current tracks, but if I’m only naming 5, they just don’t make the grade!!
