In amongst all of the rain that we’ve been having lately, we had a dry day forecast on Sunday so we decided to take advantage of our National Trust membership and get out and about.
We went to Croome Park, in Worcestershire. A huge estate to ramble around…
And as it was windy, Boo loved being blown away!
And to make the walk more exciting, racing Daddy is always fun..
There was a little church to visit..
and a stunning house to explore…
All rounded off with lunch in the cafe, to the kids’ delight – they love eating out!
We were only there for 2-3 hours, and only managed to get round half of it, so we will definitely be back. We can imagine spending many more hours there on a warmer day, taking a picnic, playing on the land, roaming all of the pathways and outbuildings – another Reading adventure just waiting to happen ๐

Isn’t Croome just fantastic? They have cycling routes and you can canoe down the river on certain dates in the year too-we’re hoping to investigate those this year. I’m do glad you enjoyed it ๐
We loved it there, and yes, so much more to do and see! We will be back…!
Aww looks like you had a lovely place and definitely one to go back to xx #countrykids

I’d never heard of Croombe Park despite being brought up in Gloucestershire – looks like a great place to visit. No National Trust here in France but we do have lots of local chรขteaux as I blogged about recently. Can I add a link? http://www.eco-gites.blogspot.fr/2014/01/normandy-chateaux.html
