Papery Peep July 2015

It’s the last Wednesday of the month, so it must mean that it’s Papery Peep time! A chance for me to talk about my month in paper, and to invite you to come share yours with me, too.

We do have the ultimate in ‘papery peeping’ coming up, starting this weekend, too. August sees the return of my #31DaysOfPaper Instagram challenge, and I cannot wait! It’s nice and easy to join in with, using the daily prompts to share a photo with us. All of the details can be found here.

Onto this month’s peep, and I thought I’d share with you my Stationery Swap goodies…

I love, love, love everything! Thank you, Alison!

Then I wanted to show you some of Boo’s latest additions to her chapter books collection…

Boo's books

These are all from my mum’s loft, as they were mine. There are plenty more up there, too, brings back some memories!

Write
I’ve been writing my journal, my book journal and my snail mail this month…

Read
Reading has been my friend this month. I’ve had a bad month, and reading has been my escape, a means to switch off. As such, I’ve read a lot. I’ve looked back, and I’ve read 11 regency romance titles over the last month, along with Alexander McCall Smith’s Emma and There Goes The Bride by Holly McQueen. I’ve needed them, and books are always my friends at times like this.

Create
I’ve done a fair bit of colouring in here, mainly with Boo as she’s now at home with me each day. Little Man and I have alsoย ‘created’ using one of his favourite reads as our inspiration. So though the creation itself isn’t papery, the idea behind it most definitely is!

  1. You can’t beat some Enid Blyton and Boo’s lucky to have that great haul at her disposal – i think I’ve still got mine upstairs too, I’ll have to dig them out! Thanks for hosting x
