Hello and welcome to this month’s Papery Peep! It’s been a busy month in paper for me – I’ve launched #SundayStationery, I’ve acquired a fair few books, I’ve sent out invitations for my girl’s birthday party, I’ve started studying for my OU degree and I’ve taken part in a stationery swap amongst other things, so it’s fortunate that I’m making life easier with my new planner. Let me share…
I received this gorgeous box of books from The Beautiful Book Company…
The full details are all on the post and I am running a competition with them at the moment, too. Suffice it to say that I did squeal when I opened the box!
I received a fab bundle as part of my stationery swap, run by The Crafty Lass…
Boo and I had a lovely mummy daughter day, which as you’d probably expect, included popping into Waterstones and Paperchase. She spent some time looking over the letter writing sets – she makes me so proud!
And last but not least, my new planner…
Read: I’ve read 3 books so far this month, all quite different – a regency romance by Mary Balogh, a chick lit by Milly Johnson and a Tess Gerritsen thriller. I’ve then read a fair bit about medieval England and Europe, thanks to my course, which has led me to what I’m currently reading, The Hollow Crown by Dan Jones which is fascinating.
Write: Notes in my study books, snail mail, letters to my daughter and of course, my planner.
Create: I haven’t felt that creative this month, I’ve been feeling too busy to take time out like this, to be honest. That said, I am finding that over the last couple of weekends, sitting down and completing my planner for the week, and then prettying it up with washi and stickers feels relaxing, creative and useful. A great combo!
How about you? If you’d like to share any papery posts with me, just grab my badge from the sidebar there and link up below. I do always love to see other people’s paper! And remember you can share by blog or just on social media any stationery pics with us, just use the #SundayStationery hash tag.
Linky closes at midnight 6th October 2015.
If you’re new here, Papery Peep’s part of #BringBackPaper, so do check it out!
Looks another busy month – love the picture of Boo poring over stationery too, but I can almost hear your husband groaning from here 🙂 Thanks for hosting x
Ha ha, he sees it as an inevitability! x
Ooh that planner looks fab 🙂
Thanks! X
Well now, you have 3 of my favourite books there-Life of Pi, Captain Corelli’s Mandolin and The Miniaturist. Look forward to hearing your thoughts on them. Lovely picture of Boo, I agree x
I’m looking forward to reading them all 🙂 x
