Roco Clothing Party Dress Review & Giveaway

Something that I’d imagine all parents of young school age children encounter are parties. Parties, parties and more parties! Boo seems to have an invitation to one every other week and it’s her social life that dominates our calendar at the weekend. This being the case, she does like a party dress, which is where Roco Clothing come in…

Roco Clothing offer a huge range of occasion wear for babies and children, along with accessories for adults. If you’re looking for flower girl dresses, party dresses, page boy suits, christening outfits, they have it all covered and more. They also offer free UK delivery on all orders and operate a next day service if you’ve got caught out at the last minute.

Boo had a good look at the dresses available, and settled on the Ada dress in pink, priced at £34.99.

The ‘Ada’ is part of our Couché Tot range of christening dresses. Embellished with delightful flowers, a pretty pearl waist band and a concealed zip fastening. This dress is perfect for this special occasions such as weddings, christenings and parties.

Once selected, it was despatched and arrived very quickly, much to Boo’s delight. She had to try it on immediately!

There was a lot of twirling, dancing and prancing going on for some time. She then wanted to keep it on, of course. It was lovely to see her so happy wearing it.

From my point of view, I was pleased with the fit. Boo’s just turned 6 and we ordered size 6-7 years, though I do find these can sometimes come up short on her as she’s a tall 6. As you can see, though, it’s a good length on her. It fits her nicely around the body, not at all tight but still looking well-fitted and I suspect she has a fair bit of growing room there, too.

The detail in it is just gorgeous. The pearl waistband has 24 stones on it, there’s the delicate double flower with gemstone centres and a pretty satin bow at the back. There are then 5 layers to the skirt, giving it bounce and that full, floaty effect.

The satin bodice is lined with cotton and the dress feels of a good quality, and I’m advised that it’s comfortable. I think having it lined with cotton helps it to hang well as well as providing comfort when wearing it. I’m impressed with it.

And Boo’s verdict? She absolutely loves it! Her favourite thing about it is that ‘it’s twizzly’ – yes, that’s a thing apparently!

Now I do have one of these to give away to one lucky reader, too. To be in with a chance of winning this Ada dress, enter using the rafflecopter below. The winner will be able to choose the size and colour (ivory or pink). The competition ends at 12am on 27th November 2015 and is open to UK entrants only. Good luck!

  1. You have such very beautiful little clothes on your site. Such a very hard choice but if I had to choose I would say the very pretty little Champagne dress. Just adorable xxx
