Shopping with JOY

Today I’m talking about JOY. Nope, not the emotion, the shop.

JOY has several stores nationwide, as well as an online store, meaning we can shop with them 24/7. Stocking a great range of womenswear, menswear and home and gifts, there’s plenty to discover.

‘Tis a rare thing that the husband has an opportunity to review anything here, so I suggested that he have a look around the shop and see if anything caught his eye. He’s pretty picky with his clothes, so I was surprised when he said yes, he liked quite a few things. Whilst I was obviously delighted for him (you hear my begrudging happy voice there, don’t you?), I was a little disappointed that he liked so much there, as I had my eye on…

Ah well, I’ll pop them on the Christmas list!

The Husband settled on a Hymn shirt, some Happy Socks and a Chunk tee….

Everything arrived well-packaged within a few days of despatch, with free delivery on orders over £50. His favourite item is the tee. It fits him perfectly, as a standard ‘S’ size, the fabric’s lovely and soft and what’s not to love about the design if you’re a Star Wars fan? From a less interesting but oh-so-valid point of view, it’s also nice and easy to iron, so I will be happy for him to keep wearing it! The socks are warm, snuggly and bright, his first foray into Happy Socks, and the verdict is a good one. He’d been on the lookout for a grey shirt, and this one is great with jeans and chinos, and can be dressed up or down.

He’s very happy with his new items and JOY is now another shop for him to browse and buy from. I did spot that there’s a sale on over there at the moment, too, might just go and have another look myself…..
