Another month, another siblings update. The time is flying by, I am sure spring is just lurking around the corner now.
It’s actually half term for us as of today, as we have a teacher training day today. I am looking forward to the break, time to recharge and relax. As the kids were ill during the last holiday, I am hoping for good health and a few play dates and fun activities this time around. These two have had a good half term at school, enjoying it and doing well. We had parents evening this week and we are very proud of all that we heard about their behaviour, attitudes and work at school. But though they are happy there with their lovely friends, they are never happier than when they are at home together, causing chaos, noise and filling the house with laughter. Now, don’t get me wrong, if this sounds idyllic do not be fooled. They are thick as thieves and the energy and excitement from Boo rubs off on Little Man and they both get louder and less likely to pay any attention to me as time goes on when they’re together! I absolutely love how very close they are to each other, but there are times when it’d be nice if they fancied just ignoring one another!
Weekends until now have been largely about playing at home, taking the kids to parties and shopping for new furniture/decor for our home interiors plans. We have been using our Family Adventures Jar which we are all loving and that’s getting us out and about, too. We went bowling last month, we’re off for a meal out today and next month we will be enjoying an overnight stay in a hotel.
I took these photos last weekend when we took a little trip out to a local farm. When we were there I was really conscious of how little time we have spent all together getting outdoors this year, so I will be keen to rectify that this month as it was lovely.
Boo aged 9 years and 4 months old, Little Man aged 6 years and 5 months old. Love them.
