As I write this month’s post, I have both kids at home with me. Right now, I hear the Muppets Most Wanted soundtrack playing, they are off in another room with swords, costumes and a lot of laughter. This is a normal day.
When they are together there is always laughter, imaginary play and a lot of noise! They do quieten down when watching TV, but I’d say that’s about the only time when friction can arise between these two as TV choices are clearly the most important and contentious decisions they make all day!
As Little Man comes up to starting school, Boo likes to talk to him about it and he’s keen to follow in her footsteps. His confidence grows month on month and his ability to keep up with Boo as they run and play closes that near three year age gap between them all of the time. They remain the very best of friends, it is truly lovely to see and a relief for me as their parent!
Boo aged 7 years and 8 months, Little Man aged 4 years and 9 months. Love them.
What lovely photos of your beautiful children, I do hope they continue their friendship. My older two, girl and boy (or should I say man and woman now) have been close all their lives and still spend time together now. There are always the sticky moments and arguments, but when they grow up close it’s lovely to see their friendship blossom.
Thank you, Anne. My brother and I were close growing up and still are, so here’s hoping!
So lovely that he has that confidence from his sister about school, siblings are the best x
They certainly are x
I love how happy Boo and Little Man always look together – they clearly do have such a lovely sibling bond 🙂 #siblingsproject
They do have a lot of fun together!
