This month has seen Boo turn 7. Seven years old already, the time has flown by. It’s funny as of course we had Boo for nearly three whole years before Little Man arrived, but I can’t imagine her without him, her partner in crime. And she cannot remember a time when she was our only child.
I know, I know, I say this every month, but they really are the best of friends. Boo has lots of lovely friends at school and a few out of school, too, and Little Man is settling again at nursery after the summer break and is starting to enjoy building friendships of his own there. They do well without the other one around, they are never pining for each other! But when they are together, they have so much fun. They are each other’s constant, they can depend on the other to be there, to understand them, to play and talk to them. It’s a lovely relationship to be around.
As part of Boo’s birthday celebrations, we went away for a weekend to the Peak District. We visited Chatsworth House and Bolsover Castle, both first time visits, both wonderful and places that we’ll definitely be returning to. The kids had a brilliant time and this month’s photos were taken at Bolsover Castle.
Boo aged 7 years old and Little Man aged 4 years and 1 month old. Love them.
Aww I do love reading about your two and their relationship as the age gap is so similar to my two, albeit a little ahead. I can’t believe she is 7! Where does the time go eh? Glad to read they are as close as ever! Xx
I know, how can this be happening?! Oh yes, they certainly are x
OH these are so adorable… so much fun and what a great family day out. Happy 7th birthday. They grow up so fast don’t they? #siblingsproject
They really do! Thanks 🙂
I can’t imagine having a 7 year old. Happy Birthday Boo! It sounds so grown up – and feels like such a long way off, but I know Athena will be there before I know it! x
Oh, she will, the time just flies! x
Looks like a gorgeous place to visit! Lovely photos.
Thank you!
Wow, seven sounds like a very big number – I can remember being seven myself! These are beautiful photos and I’m glad they had so much fun exploring the castle; they make very cute Elizabethans!
They do! Thank you x
Ah their relationship sounds so amazing. Our eldest was 4 when we had the littlest but even now I can’t imagine them not having each other and they do too x
Thank you!
Where has the month gone?!
It’s lovely seeing siblings having fun together, sharing time together is priceless.
Great photos.
It has flown! Thank you x
What gorgeous photos from your day at Bolsover Castle. I love the photo with Boo and Little Man looking at each other while sitting on the steps and the last one with them both in costume. You can really see what a wonderful bond they have 🙂
They are so close and you do it see when you look at them together x
