We had a morning with absolutely nothing on our agenda, so as the sun was shining, we decided to get outside.
Boo hasn’t been on her scooter for ages. No reason, we just sort of forgot about it, so when remembered, we had to get it out! With Little Man happily in his pushchair and Boo eager to scoot, we were off…
We made the jaunt all about Spring and nature. I pointed out flowers, buds and trees to the children, and soon Boo was doing the same and delighting in spotting things.
Moss, in particular, enthralled her, and she loved it’s springy touch…
We saw so many flowers blooming, the sun was shining, and it just felt good.
We were only out for half an hour, but it was great to get a breath of fresh air, and a little exercise. We’ll definitely be getting that scooter out more regularly from now on.
Have you been enjoying the sunshine?
Lovely spring time walk for you all. Our J is same age as your boo, it’s lovely to see their excitement as they find and discover things they may have forgotten from last spring.
Thanks. Yes, it’s lovely to see them rediscovering again 🙂
Done times it’s really lovely to enjoy your local surroundings isn’t it. Funnily enough my post is about the same kind of thing-great things! And my little boy loves moss too.
It was a lovely little scoot about, and then we went on a leisurely walk the next day, too – been really enjoying our local surroundings 🙂
How lovely, your daughter has the same scooter as my little T! 🙂 It’s lovely to finally get out in the sunshine isn’t it? Looks like it will be grey-clouds for us again this week, at least it’s going to be dry (or so the 5 day weather forecast predicts!) Hope you have more sunshine on your side of England! #CountryKids.
It’s been lovely, though it isn’t looking great for next week – good job we made the most of it!
Fab pics hun sounds like a wonderful fun filled half an hour!
Thanks very much 🙂
Nothing better than a spot of scooting and nature spotting. Lovely photos. #countrykids
It was lovely. Thank you x
Lovely photos from your Spring walk/scoot which I’m sure was fun particularly as the sun was shining. Here’s to more fun outdoors and many more sunny days. Thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.
Thank you, and yes I’d second that! Thanks for hosting x
Oh it looks like Boo loved dusting off the scooter! I love how pink she is 🙂 x
She did! Oh yes, it’s her favourite colour – you’d never guess would you?!
Looks like a lot of fun! My daughter loves her scooter. 🙂 I can’t wait for the flowers to start blooming around here.
It was, thanks. Hope you get blooms soon x
What a sweetie – pie! She looks so cute! x
Ah, thank you 🙂
Lovely photos, Monkey used to have the green version of that scooter #CountryKds
Thanks very much. Love scooters!
Fab photo’s Jocelyn and how lovely has the weather been this week! Have you tried to scoot? It’s actually harder than I remember as a kid! #CountryKids
Thank you 🙂 No, hers is way too low for me to do it properly, which is the excuse I’ll be sticking with 😉
Lovely pictures, isn’t it great now the weathers changing. The tulips are my favorite
Yes, it makes such a difference! Thanks x
Wow! You found tonnes of spring life 🙂
Love #CountryKids 🙂
It was everywhere! Thanks x
lovely to get outside especially on days when nothing else in particular planned. x
It was lovely, thanks x
Ah looks like a lovely spring walk. We just got my daughter a scooter for Christmas and she adores it, although can only go in a circle as can’t steer that well! 😉
Circles can be fun!
What a lovely walk, so lovely to see all the treasures that Boo found 🙂
She loved looking for things 🙂
The flowers are beautiful – so vibrant. What fun:)
Thank you x
It looks like you all had a lovely walk. Fran has requested a scooter, hopefully we will be able to get her one soon.
Hope you can then. Boo loves hers!
Fun! Hope the scooter gets lots of use over summer too x
I’m sure it will! x
Firstly I thought the conifer was a giant bug and it scared me greatly! I LOVE taking the kids out for a walk but my girl is not as good on the scooter as yours. It would defo just be me. Pushing a buggy and holding a bloomin scooter. Grrrrr #thethemegame xxx
I did not mean to scare you! Yep, that’s not as much fun!x
OK, the fir cone made me think of something else entirely-I have a one track mind currently! Neither of mine are especially keen on scooting-they prefer bikes. I however, want one of those grown up scooters-that would be cool 🙂 #TheThemeGame
Boo likes both, but she mastered her scooter when she was 2, so is more comfortable on that than a bike, I think. Ah, yes, that’d be fun!
Fab pics. Looks like a great time outdoors.
It was lovely, thanks x
This is a lovely post! It’s so nice to just get out on a lovely day and even better when the kids like to get involved. Gorgeous photo’s x
Yes, it was just that – a breath of fresh air and a happy little outing. Thanks x
Boo is so adorable in her pink clothes, on her pink scooter… how did you get around the yellow wheels?! We also have lots of pink in our house 😉
Ah, yellow is her second favourite colour 😉
