Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – An Obsession Has Begun…

We were recently sent 4 TMNT DVD’s to review. Boo hadn’t seen the turtles before, and I’m not sure she’d even heard of them, but oh, how that has changed! To give you a little information on them….

life-altering mutations, the half-shell heroes are always ready for heart-stopping, straight-outta-the-sewer action!

Now, I remember these the first time round. My brother used to love them, and so I do recall all of the characters, and the songs! It seems that they’ve lost none of their magic, because Boo has become totally obsessed with them! She wants to watch them, we’ve spent her pocket money on buying each of the turtle figures, and when she’s not watching them or playing them? She’s ‘being’ them! Yes, you will find her rushing around the house, jumping and kicking and practising her turtle moves! She’s been into things before, but I can honestly say I don’t remember anything capturing her interest and imagination quite like this before. I love hearing her playing with the toys and ‘heroes in a half-shell, turtle power’ is now often swirling round in my head!

So, it’d be fair to say that the DVDs have been a huge hit here. HUGE! I’d definitely recommend them, though if your kids are new to this, be warned, it could take over..!
