The Puddle Quest

A sunny, dry day has us itching to get out, and few things make me, and the children, happier than a stroll around our local park. It’s beautiful there, and huge, so there’s always plenty to explore. A walk, and run, a listen to the birds, a look at our shadows, identifying the trees – the possibilities are endless…

We took some bread for the birds…

And then, as it had been raining so much that morning, we embarked on ‘the puddle quest’…

Puddles

We set out on our quest hoping to find 10 to jump and splash about in – we found 26 🙂

  1. What a lovely bright day for a picturesque walk in the park taking part in some great activities. I’m not surprised you found so many puddles – the one good thing after all the rain we’ve had! Thanks for linking up and sharing your outdoor fun with Country Kids.

  2. That’s a great park to have local to you, and your photos are lovely. I like the one with your little girl going up the steps 🙂 Got to love a splash in a puddle too
