Wellness Podcasts I’m Loving

Do you spend much time listening to podcasts?

I work from home, and the house is very rarely silent. I usually fill it with music, but I then like to throw in the odd podcast here and there, too.

I enjoy listening to wellness podcasts. I find them interesting and often learn something new. I also find that they help and support me with my health and, depending on the content, they motivate me to try other things or more of the things I am already doing. It’s good to hear you’re on the right track, and it’s also good to hear about new things you can do.

Podcasts are an easy way to consume information about our health and wellness. We can take this information in whilst we’re doing other things, for example I am listening to one as I write this and I often listen to them whilst I do housework. You could listen as you drive, as you commute, whilst you unwind, whenever works best for you.

Listening to wellness podcasts is a way to focus on your own wellbeing and they are bound to give you some ideas and inspiration to go off and do other things.

If wellness podcasts are new to you, these are the podcasts that I like to listen to. They are insightful, motivating, and informative.

Well Beyond 40 by JJ Virgin
Well Beyond 40 with JJ Virgin is the podcast for women who want to age powerfully and enjoy the best chapter of their lives. It’s YOUR turn now to focus on nutrition, wellness, fitness, mindfulness, and beauty. Refuel your body. Reignite your wellness. Renew your passion. Fall (back) in love with your life, and discover what it means to age powerfully. Every information-packed episode combines cutting-edge science, pearls of wisdom from JJ’s four decades as a health and wellness leader and the world’s leading experts on weight loss, metabolism, menopause, life transitions and much more. We dive deep into topics like cultivating mindfulness, building strong relationships and setting boundaries, and choosing health…in a nutshell, how we can AGE POWERFULLY into this second half of our lives.

These all work for me, and I dip in and out of them and grab the episodes that feel more applicable to me or the ones that I feel I’m focused on at that time.

I’d also then recommend something that’s really specific to you, so give that a search as extra podcasts to listen to.

For example, I like to listen to the Breast Cancer Now podcast, so maybe you’d want to focus in on an area of your own wellbeing that will support you.
