Win Tickets To The National Pet Show!

We are going to the National Pet Show again this year and we are all really looking forward to it. We have been before and it is such a brilliant day out. There is so much to see and do and the kids love meeting and petting loads of different animals. Of course we also have Herbie now so I am sure we will buy him a few treats whilst we are there! Thanks to the team at the National Pet Show for inviting us, and even better they are inviting you too…I have 2 sets of family tickets up for grabs, so your family could be there next month.

Bigger, better and furrier than ever, The National Pet Show will showcase so much more than just pups and pussycats. Tagging along will be everything from reptiles to rabbits, ponies to parrots and goldfish to guinea pigs, just to start! It’s fun for all the family as animal lovers great and small can learn about a myriad of species and breeds – as well as getting the chance to stroke them and take selfies with them along the way.

The show has it all, from pet exhibitions to wholehearted cat food reviews to agility demonstrations.

There’ll be enthralling educational talks from experts plus ongoing animal demonstrations while the displays will have visitors clapping, cheering, and even joining in.

Brand new this year is ‘Family Fur Tunes’. One of the highlights of the show, it will see family teams led by Autumnwatch presenter Michaela Strachan and TV vet Rory Cowlam. Both sides will be invited to ‘pet their wits’ against each other in a hilarious quickfire challenge that tests their animal knowledge. They’ll compete, twice a day, with different families in each slot. Would-be contestants must register in advance online for a chance to win a place.

Amongst other things, there is flyball, a Canine Catwalk, the Animal Rescue Barn sponsored by Sleepeezee, Dogs with Jobs, the Activity Arena, the Hound Hangout, the Secret Rabbit Garden, villages for practically every pet that you can think of and then there’s the shopping, lots of lovely shopping opportunities!

Sound like the kind of day that you and your family would enjoy? Then we might see you there!

When and where?

The National Pet Show, sponsored by Petsurance from The PDSA, is back for its sixth year. It returns to Birmingham’s NEC on the Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 November, 9.30am – 5.00pm.

  1. I would love to win tickets for the pet show, we are huge animal lovers in our house. We’ve had chickens, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, rats and ferrets!! We currently own a dog called Barney who deserves lots of nice treats from the pet show and on Friday (11th) we pick up our rescue dog Lucky who has had the worst start in life ever. Bred from 6 months old, she’s now only 2!! We intend to give her all the love she deserves.

  2. i would start with watching the gorgeous show cats( cats are my fave), then look at the dog breeds, and hopefully the llamas, its extremely well organised, i love that the trade stands are in one section, so you can browse if you like, i adore the sweet greyhounds….I suppose you can say all together an unmissable day!!

  3. I would love to win to take my 13 year old daughter to see her hero The supervet she has such a hard time at school but animals are her life I’d love to reward her persistence with tickets to the show ,??❤
