Word of the Week 23/2/18

Hello and welcome to Word of the Week!

If you’re new here, Word of the Week is a nice and simple weekly linky, with everyone welcome to pop by and share. You reflect back on the past week and sum it up in one word. Then share your word with us in a blog post, with as little or as much explanation as you like. It’s a fun and friendly linky, so please do be lovely and visit as many of the other blogs as you can and share with them your thoughts on their words and weeks. I do comment on every entry to the linky, and if you add the Word of the Week badge to your post to help spread the ‘word’, I also tweet them out.

My word of the week this week is:

Appointments, arrangements, meetings – any and all of those words work for this week!

With the kids off on half term it’s been a week of appointments for them. Little Man’s ear has been playing him up so we were at the doctors first thing on Monday. Then they have both had dental check-ups, they’ve both been to their respective hairdressers and this weekend we’ll all be off to the opticians. Thrilling, right?! But they all needed to be done, so everything’s sorted now.

Of course, our week hasn’t all about appointments. The kids have had several play dates, we’ve been to Twycross Zoo and there’s been plenty of time to just play and relax.

I have then been making arrangements to catch up with some friends, meeting deadlines with my university work and making plans for our holiday, booking a few surprises in for the kids and working out where we want to be each day.

My head is swimming with dates, times, deadlines and events, good job I have them all written down!

What about you? What one word sums up your week best?

Please grab the badge, link up and share…

Linky opens at 6.30am Friday, to midnight on Sunday.

  1. It sounds like you have had a busy but enjoyable half term. I took the opportunity to make lots of appointments too it must be that time of year. Your Twycross zoo trip looked like lots of fun. Hope you have a lovely weekend x

  2. We have weeks like that, when appointments seem to take over. I’m glad you managed some fun time over half term as well. I’ve never been to Twycross zoo.

    1. It’s been good to get everything done! We’ve had lots of relaxing around the house in between appointments so it’s been nice x

  3. You need to have them all written down. Very organized. I’m starting to look ahead to the Easter to book all the mundane apointments I neglected to arrange for our last week off. Has to be done. Hope you are enjoying your half term
